Background

Barry Moore (born September 26, 1966) grew up on a family farm in Coffee County, Alabama. He graduated from Auburn University in 1992 with a B.S. in Agricultural Science and served in the Alabama Army National Guard and Reserves for six years.

He founded Hopper-Moore Inc., an industrial waste hauling and general contracting company, in 1998. Moore served eight years in the Alabama House of Representatives (2010–2018) before winning his congressional seat in 2020. He sits on the House Judiciary and Agriculture committees.
